Summer is officially here, and honestly, there is no place I’d rather be in June than right here around Lake Oconee. Between the lake days, the weather, and the incredible community vibe in Greensboro and Eatonton, my calendar is already packed.

What it is: This is a total local tradition honoring our area's rich dairy heritage, and it's easily one of my favorite annual community events. Kick off the morning with the parade, then hit the arts and crafts booths and grab plenty of food vendor specialties.
