When friends and clients visit Lake Oconee for the first time, they all ask some version of the same question: "Okay - where is everything?"
Fair question. Our lake doesn't work like most places. It's 19,000 acres of winding shoreline wrapped around gated communities, and half of what makes life here wonderful isn't visible from the road. The best steakhouse sits behind a resort. Some of the finest golf holes in Georgia hide behind a guard gate. There are restaurants you can only fully appreciate if you arrive by boat, and a legendary dinner spot with no sign on the building at all!
You can't Google your way to that knowledge. Zillow certainly won't show it to you. You learn it by living here, which I've been lucky enough to do since 2015.

Here's what's on it:
Every major neighborhood. Reynolds Lake Oconee, Harbor Club, Cuscowilla, Del Webb, - each one pinned, each with plain-English notes on what makes it distinct and who has access to what.
Every golf course, with the details golfers care about. Courses, tee boxes, greens and access levels for each: the Nicklaus design at Great Waters, Fazio's National and Richland courses, the Coore–Crenshaw gem at Cuscowilla, and more. If you're a golfer deciding between communities, this alone is worth the view.
The dining scene, decoded. Which restaurants are open to the public, which are members-only, and which ones locals quietly consider the best meals on the lake - including the waterfront spots where you can tie up the boat and walk to lunch.
The practical stuff nobody maps. Marinas. Pools, tennis, and pickleball. The spa. The hospital. Even where to find Publix and EV chargers. If you're deciding whether lake life actually works day to day, these pins answer it.
Filters for how you live. Only care about golf? Tap one filter. Planning a boat day around lunch? Waterfront dining has its own layer. It works beautifully on your phone - take it with you on your next visit and use it like a local in your pocket.
Why am I doing this?
Because this is the conversation I have with every serious buyer anyway - usually from the passenger seat of my car over a tour. The map doesn't replace that tour (nothing does), but it means you show up to it already oriented, asking better questions, and focused on the communities that actually fit your life.
And honestly: I think the more people understand this area, the more they fall in love with it. That's good for all of us who call it home.
